You've done a lot of nice work in the past, Jeff, but you really took it to the next level on this one. Good concept, timely humor, nice artwork, not afraid of the 'violence' yet not a wanton celebration of it, and I loved that eagle!
Bravo!

Well, you need a lesson in psychology, because you said that comparisons to Xiaoxiao are unfair, but the last think you want to do if you don't want a comparison is to bring it up. But the comparison doesn't hurt, because even though xiaoxiao was the ultimate in @$$kicking stick violence, you movie has a plot a timeline of increasing action.
There were spots of genuine creativity in here, even though I'm sure it was meant to be a comical ode to violence.

Okay, I have to credit you for what looks to have been a lot of time and hard work. I've never attempted this type of game, but from what I understand visiting some forums, movement of this type is tricky, and creating boundaries with collisions is also far beyond the skills of any novice. However, for a 'horror' adventure game, it moved a bit too slow to keep my interests, and there were few opportunities to fight. I killed the moth, and some shadowing thing both with one hit. Then I got into the darkroom with the flashlight (the one beyond the room with the seal on the floor and the message) and there were no more walls, I could walk out of bounds, I couldn't hurt those crab looking creatures, and then the game ended. If those things were hurting me, I couldn't tell because there are no sounds of violence or pain. I didn't even get a message explaining to me why the game ended.
I appreciate the hard work, so I gave it an 8 overall. But it doesn't seem finished yet.

"The most artistic flash I have ever seen!"
You could develop this into a longer flash movie and they could put it straight onto television without any need for changes. I think the only problems that the entertainment industry would have is that it develops slowly, but I think that is a part of the atmosphere of this movie. The slow pan across the space scene, or the slow zoom into the skyline with that music really creates a mood that is almost mystical.
